After working in Snapchat AR in 2022, i wanted to challenge myself, expand my programming skills into new territory and try a different development environment. So in 2022, i got more and more interested in front-end develoment and creating my own websites and apps with React / React native. I'm hoping to eventually combine my passion for AR with mobile develoment and build beautiful, fun and social AR Apps.

Skilltree
REACT - React Flow - JavaScript - HTML - CSS - Visual Studio Code
New skill unlocked! ⚔
I squeezed my learning journey into a little #react website and turned it into a skilltree! 🌿 skilltree.ineshilz.com 🌿
I started this as a playful interactive CV and had a lot of fun working on it - I'm especially proud of the mobile version! 👀 So interesting to view my life through a #gamified lens, to see where i'm coming from and what i want to level up next.
Storybook App (wip)
REACT Native - JavaScript - HTML - CSS - Visual Studio Code - Firebase
For a follow up project, i wanted to make a mobile App with React Native. At that time, a friend was working on  Illustrations for a childrens book, so we came up with the idea of a storybook app, where parents can read for / with their kids who can interact with beautiful illustrations.
With this project, i really got into UX Design and styling beautiful components. I am going for a reduced but playful design, that speaks both to parents and their children, is easy to navigate and to expand.
I developed the app with React Native and connected it to a
Cloud via Firebase, so the stories get automatically updated in the app whenever we add a new story to the online database.

Figma AR App Concept
Adobe Photoshop - Figma
Concept for a fictional fashion brand that selles AR activated patches for clothes.
It showcases the userflow through the app, aswell as the basic core features.
The user can login and starts with a camera view, to take photos and film the patches and their AR effects around the person.
In case they want to purchase more patches, they can access a store with one tap.

Stretching routine
REACT - JavaScript - CSS - HTML - Visual Studio Code
The first React project i created is a minimalsitic website, that fetches Yoga Poses from a server and walks you through them in a guided stretching routine.
It was a great beginner project to learn the barebones of front-end development and even though i had lots of ideas to make it bigger and more complex, i decided to keep it simple and move on to a second project instead, where i could apply all the things i learned so far from the very beginning. In this project, i got familiar with:

- Setting up a React project with expo
- Creating and styling components and screens
- Fetching data from an online API and displaying it in a meaningful way
- React Hooks and Navigation through the Website / UX Design
- Styled Components and Flexbox
- GitHub, Debugging in the Web browser
